| “Deng Mao Xie Gu” event during Deng Xiaoping's "First Down" marked Deng Xiaoping as the representative figure who advocated and defended Mao Zedongs correct line and ideology, and laid a long-term and stably political relationship between Deng Xiaoping and Mao Zedong. Under the influence of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping realized his “First Up” and rapidly became an important high-ranking military offficer of the peoples army after “Deng Mao Xie Gu” event. Mao Zedongs “Deng Mao Xie Gu complex” was key to Deng Xiaopings “Second Up”. “Deng Mao Xie Gu” event, which coincided with the common in the revolutionary practice, political experience, ideological line and other aspects between Deng Xiaoping and Mao Zedong, played a booster and lubricant role in the relationship between Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping. |
