| 中国翻译界曾有"翻译无定规"之說,以为翻译全凭译者对原语和的语的修养和累积的实践经验。按照这种观点,翻译学无需建立,高校创办翻译专业实属多此一举。通过对长篇小说《无名的裘德》的翻译,我们深刻地认识到:翻译必须遵守一定的原则,也要讲究一些技巧。 |

| In the translation circle of China,some scholars asserted that translation relied on the mastery of two languages and the accumulation of experience;for "there is no fixed principles to follow".If what they said is true,we think it is not necessary to establish translatology or set up translation training centers in universities.Through our translation of the long novel Jude the Obscure,we came to realize the importance of adhering to certain principle and employing adequate techniques.The present paper is our afterthought after the translation. |
