| In verbal communication, linguistic alignment, contextual alignment and informational alignment may come into being, yet pragmatic misalignment may also arise, in the course of using and comprehending equivocation. Pragmatic alignment may serve as the basis for successful communication and act as the effective operation mechanism in verbal communication, whereas pragmatic misalignment may bring about negative effects, but not causing the communication total failure. |
