| Kripkes puzzle about belief shows that in the belief context a contradiction could be drawn from disquotational principle and principle of translation, which were widely accepted. This paper argues that the contradiction is derived not because of these two principles, but because of empirical facts. Therefore, sentences’ truth value should be built on situations. |
