| David Copperfield is one of the most popular and representative novels of Charles Dickens’.The novel best shows his language features.The use of colloquialism creates one of the techniques of his language style in this novel.The paper analyzes the colloquial language features of the characters and their functions and effects as well.It concludes that the skill of colloquial languages can not only show the social attributes of the characters but also the personal features. |
