Abstract:The study on Bing Xins translation activity from the new perspective of eco-ethics can be cleared up from the following three aspects. Her insistence of a “middle-way” translation strategy, and her honest attitude towards the translation career and readers prove that the relevant bodies in translation should keep a mutual and harmonious relationship with each other. Her choice of translating literary works mainly from Asian and African countries well embodies the ecological holism so as to promote an overall balance between linguistic and cultural communication. Besides, her translation activity and literary creation have been mutually influenced and promoted, which completely reveals the essence of the ecological unity with harmony, balance and beauty. Thus, all these have fully revealed the eco-ethical thought of Bing Xins translation.
