Abstract:In the process of leading Chinese revolution and construction, Mao Zedong persisted unswervingly in exploring the road suitable for Chinese national condition, in arousing and cultivating Chinese peoples spirit of self-reliance and self-sustaining, in maintaining national sovereignty and dignity. He always adhered to the principle of converting his patriotic faith and feelings, and the dream of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation into the specific actions of national independence, Chinas prosperity and peoples happiness, to which he devoted his energy and efforts all his life. National self-confidence, self-respect and national pride are the most important and basic value orientations of Mao Zedongs patriotic faith and feelings, featured by combining patriotism with internationalism. All these have reflected Mao Zedongs broad mind of being a great proletarian revolutionist.
