This paper uses the questionnaire to investigate the conditions of middle school students personality characteristics, family functions and mental resilience, so as to analyze the status quo and the relationship among them. Result show that the leftover or not has significant impact on middle school students personality characteristics, family functions and mental resilience. Being the internal cause and the external cause, rural middle school students personality characteristics and family functions have a close relation with their mental resilience.
