Abstract:The contextual adaptation is a dynamic process of which both subjects select and use the language in the field of pragmatic context and communicative context. College English teaching should, based on the comprehensive understanding of the contextual adaptation, comply with the practicalness oriented principle and depend on the following strategies to attain the high efficient cultivation towards talents, i.e. to create a high-quality language cognition context, to strengthen the subjects experience towards non cognitive context, to attach importance to the understanding of the culture and social customs of the source language countries, and to construct a harmonious and natural teaching subject communicative context.
