In the background of the Ministry of Finance of China to suspend the government procurement policies to promote innovation,this paper studies the characteristic method of government procurement to promote innovation in Japan and Korea.Japan to support SMEs,and Republic of Korea to implement the E-government procurement are in their own to promote a significant innovation.This has referential values to China:use government procurement to promote innovation by reflecting the relevant laws and polices of supporting SMEs and giving priority to buy domestic products;strengthen people’s awareness of protecting independent innovation in government procurement;find a breakthrough to comprehensively promote national innovation through government procurement.
