A large-scale university is a new style of university produced under the background of mass higher education.The main feature of this type of university is the large scale,embodied in those with multiple campuses,training talents at different levels,setting up a large number of curricula,and having many students,teachers,staff,etc.Large-scale university does not equal to first-class university.Large-scale universities in China need to overcome the problems,such as the bureaucracy in organizational structure and the market tendency in professional structure and data tendency in students’ and teacher’s structure.In order to become a first-scale university,the large-scale university should adopt the strategy of optimizing the internal structure,such as autonomy,characteristics and depending on talents.
