To carry out the strategy of modern agricultural development,Hunan Province needs lots of talent engaged in agricultural technology development and popularization.The currently agricultural popularization team has such problems as surplus personnel,poor education background and technical title,out-dated professional knowledge and aged group,which can far beyond meet the needs of the new situation in rapid increase of personnel,multi-structure,improved quality and good efficiency of talent demand.The fundamental countermeasures for fostering the construction of agricultural popularization team under the background of modern agricultural development in Hunan Province should further improve the cultivation and training system of agricultural popularization talent,increase the financial input of the government,guide and use the talent scientifically.
