Abstract:Local colleges are defined as schools that offer training programs in law, but are not members of the “211” engineering schools, or are not members of the “985” engineering schools under the jurisdiction of the Chinas Ministry of Education. As a result, significant challenges exist for local and non-local colleges who seek to train law students today. In order to better prepare students to enter the field of law following graduation, it has become increasingly necessary to develop their individual talents and capabilities. Taking advantage of the resources available to local colleges and putting greater emphasis on the practical application of knowledge may provide new opportunities for training law students. The resources of higher education institutions can be utilized to better serve the practical needs of the departments while, at the same time, law students will gain practical experience. Law students working in partnership with the departments of higher education institutions is a viable solution for local colleges seeking to develop a successful training program for students studying law.
