Contemporary Western economic ideology has become so pervasive in Chinas society today, that it would be beneficial for China to recognize its significance as an ideological resource in pursuit of its goal for domestic prosperity. The influence of Western economic ideology can be approached in three stages. We need to hold critical attitudes toward Western economic ideology, enrich socialistic principles and modes of transmission based on the principle of absorption, tempered with critical judgment; and strengthen socialistic persuasion by vigorously encouraging socialistic development.
