In many chapters of Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio written by Pu Songling, he exposes the dark reality of officials like the greed and tyranny of tiger and wolf, malpractice, collusion in Chinas ancient feudal society. By analyzing the main behavior and the cause of corruption in ancient China, this paper summarizes the ancient ways of controlling corruption in ancient China and hopes to provide an important reference and inspiration on Chinas anti-corruption work.
