Totem worship, the carriers of which are flag, family crests, dresses and tattooing, is a spiritual belief and cultural emblems with ethnic cultural characteristics. Huayao is a migrated nation, who considers Panhu as their ancestors, and also recognizes the Dragon, the Chinese common totem. During their long life and migration, Huayao integrates with all kinds of cultures on the way of migration and has multi totem worship. Huayao has no family crests, flag and tattooing. Their dress is the main carrier of their totem worship. Totem worship has greatly influenced the general style of Huayao dress art and Huayao cross-stitch. At the same time, they also have contradictory reflections in their dresses, owing to the taboos of totem worship, which infers that the ultimate goal of totem worship is to worship real life and human being.
