Most of the traditional “history of Chinese literary criticism” combed the past literary criticism chronologically, in order to reflect the writers social position, culture idea and aesthetic interest. In the new centurys literary ecology, the writing of “history of Chinese literary criticism” should break through the traditional writing style, and fully make use of Raymond Williams research paradigm by explaining the core terms to reflect on the discipline construction and development of “keywords criticism”. With the rational thinking on disciplinary nature as the primordium, with the panoramic scanning of discipline development as the source, and with the keywords sorting as the axis, it explores to the necessity and the possibility of writing the history of Chinese literary criticism with keywords as the key link. Only in this way can we, on the whole, grasp the theoretical essence and the logical evolution of the history of Chinese literary criticism, so as to promote the transformation and the reconstruction of contemporary history of Chinese literary criticism and its category system.
