Government service, being one of the main functions of the governments in modern market economy, has the function and effect of promoting the transformation of economic growth mode. Empirical analysis shows that with the growth of Chinas economy, various public expenditures of governments have been increased, and the government services have been increased, too. However, there still exist the problems in insufficient supply of government public services, low efficiency and non-equalization, which cannot support the transformation of Chinas economic growth model. To foster the government services and promote the transformation of economic growth model, we shall turn to the following aspects, i.e. to establish the philosophy of government services, strengthen the service function of the governments, make the institutional improvement as the initial focal point, and to innovate the government service model.
