| Respecting teachers and their teaching is Mao Zedong’s consistent thought,because he knows well that teachers are vital for the development of education.Mao Zedong has always attached great importance to the cultivation of faculty team and formulated a series of specific measures.He has emphasized that being an educator needs to be educated first."To be a good teacher,one must be a good student in the first place".He has also emphasized that "educators should combine with workers and peasants",which means that education should gear to workers as well as peasants,and serve the mass of people by giving a priority to workers and peasants. |
