| Literature is an art of language. Works of literature are more charming and colorful if good local languages are used in them. Intentional or unintentionally, Gu Hua greatly used a lot of local phrases and?grammar in his work Hibiscus Town, and he paraded of a natural and refreshing language world for his readers and presented a change in a southern town in a special historical time. We Chinese should show out our linguistic value and social value in our Chinese works with our own languages and build up our rich and colorful Chinese literature in the new age. |
